What does GFWC stand for?
GFWC stands for General Federation of Women's Clubs. We are an International organization with clubs in every US state as well as several countries. More information can be found at www.gfwc.org
can i attend a meeting without joining?
YES! We welcome guests at all of our meetings at the GFWC Henderson County Woman's Club. We do ask that at your first meeting you take home information about membership. Our membership enrollment/annual fee is $30. These fees assist our club with the ability to service Henderson County by covering administrative costs as well as enrolling you as a member of our international organization and it's benefits that include several discounts with major companies.
Where do you meet?
Currently, we meet in various locations in Henderson County. Our next meeting is announced at the top of this web page.
Did you know?
GFWC is credited with beginning 75% of the nations libraries. GFWC assisted with creation of The National Park Service. GFWC advocated for mandatory automobile seatbelts.
